Desirae Monique

Countless years as a member of her church’s praise team, performing with both chamber and gospel choirs, and a little over two decades of singing loudly in the shower have allowed Desirae Monique to hone her incredible voice into nothing short of a masterpiece.
Unlike most of her generation, Desirae Monique has gained a genuine affinity for the classic genres of jazz and soul. This influence by the legends of yesteryear, like Sarah Vaughan, Ray Charles and Etta James is clearly apparent in her soulful sound. Although extremely appreciative of their work, Desirae, who describes herself as “a lover of all things music”, is also inspired by amazing artists of other disciplines, like the incomparable Michael Jackson, hip-hop’s Lauryn Hill and amazing gospel singers, Shirley Caesar and Yolanda Adams. Her musical preferences have helped shape her musical style into one that is uniquely refreshing and eclectic but is consistent in quality.

Undoubtedly an exceptionally talented vocalist, it should be noted that Desirae’s artistry began with her passion for songwriting. Her love of life and all its aspects have made her a well-rounded and relatable lyricist. DeeMo is currently putting those writing chops to use while working restlessly on her debut EP.

Take the innumerable compliments from respected industry professionals and her loyal, ever-growing fan base, along with Desirae’s confidence from knowing her gift is just that, combined with her intelligence and business savvy and you have an individual who is totally prepared to take on any test to taste success. As she continues to write, perform and collaborate with others, knowledge of Desirae Monique’s talent is spreading rapidly and through drive and diligence she will soon vault herself into prominence in the world of music.

Zepparella

How to honor the legacy of a band deemed sacred? To tread on holy ground is perilous, and must be done with the intent and spirit of a disciple—Pay attention to the intricacies of the magic, explore the far ends of the innovation, strive for ever-growing ability, and let the purity of the love for the music drive it all.

Drummer Clementine is the founding member of ZEPPARELLA. From the beginning of her musical career, her goal has been to be onstage every night. The pursuit of that goal has led Clementine to constantly tour the US and Europe in projects as diverse as Bottom, AC/DShe, The House Of More, The Solid, Francis Bakin, and Stars Turn Me On. She tackles the best rock drumming ever written with her own emotionally powerful style, bringing the Motown influence of the Bonham groove to the forefront. The profound musical connection established with Gretchen Menn (guitar), Angeline Saris (bass), and Noelle Doughty (vocals) creates the bond required to do this great music justice.

It was under the tutelage of classical guitarist Phillip DeFremery, a student of Andrés Segovia, that guitarist Gretchen Menn began her path on the instrument. Playing with tireless passion and constantly seeking out new challenges, her projects are often unconventional, genre-bending expressions combining elements of classical, rock, progressive, jazz, and metal. On influences, Gretchen has never tired of her initial inspirations—Eric Johnson, Steve Morse, Frank Zappa, and Jeff Beck. But she has loved Jimmy Page’s guitar playing longer than she has played the guitar. It was through the music of Led Zeppelin that she found a gateway into music that resonated deeply with her, creating a love for guitar-oriented music, and, ultimately, the guitar.

Bassist Angeline Saris has musical passions that span jazz to speed metal, R&B to rock, Cuban to hip-hop, and flamenco to rockabilly. Angeline has done it all – and does it extremely well. It is this versatility, her rock-solid time, tastefully crafted bass lines, and unequivocal skills that give her the ability to bring cohesion to the eclectic Zeppelin catalog. Angeline credits John Paul Jones as a main influence, so it is no surprise that she shines as she interprets his thunder.

Finally, singer Noelle Doughty has found her way back to where she started, with a passion for Led Zeppelin’s music that was developed from as far back as she can remember, as the little sister in the room with the rocking older brothers. The kid who knew every word to every song has worked in classic rock cover bands, jazz bands, funk bands, and yet never lost her true love for Zeppelin. After moving to the West Coast from New York State, her fortuitous meeting with Gretchen Menn backstage at a Robert Plant concert brought the final puzzle piece to the Zepparella family. Noelle’s clear and powerful style and deep understanding of the emotional content of these great songs make the picture complete.

Now more than ever, Zepparella explores their own improvised magic within the framework of Zeppelin’s mighty songs!

Discordia

Discordia has been described as listening to a Metal version of old Hammer film soundtracks. According to The San Francisco National Examiner, the band “goes well beyond what most would consider a metal band,” to capture the core essence of their iconic Heavy Metal and Hard Rock forefathers with today’s modern sensibility.

Discordia is a Dark Symphonic Metal Band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Some may even argue to say they were the first of it’s genre from the SF Bay. If not, they are definitely the most recognizable and influential. Ever since they emerged onto the scene in 2011 there has been a number of new Symphonic and Power Metal bands forming in The SF Bay Area (even as far as Sacramento and Central Valley CA).

Songwriter Bobby Cannon and founder stated in Guitar Player Magazine “it was no easy task to find like minded musicians to play music with. The area is over populated with Death Metal, NU Metal and the general public being fed manufactured music by the mainstream media.

Discordia brings the talents of respected touring veterans Bobby Cannon, Elijah Losch and Joel Krueger.
Becca McCabe brings the symphonic element to the band with her years of classical training, orchestrating and scoring music for films and video games. Add the incredible vocal delivery of Cindy Cannon and you have a unique symphonic sound with an dark elegance that has found a legion of followers worldwide.

With the 2015 release of the band’s debut self titled EP and a full length album on the way, Discordia has been on heavy rotation on every major metal internet radio station. They have been interviewed and praised continuously all across the globe on numerous online magazines.

Where do they go from here? Discordia will continue to push themselves further to created an unforgettable collection of timeless Symphonic Metal that will continue to win the hearts of Metal lovers worldwide.

Marques Anthony

Marques Anthony was creating music before he was able to form complete sentences. At the tender age of three, Marques began to play the drums, piano and organ. When given the option to choose athletics or music, Marques chose to follow his passion…Music. In 2006, Marques Anthony (with help from godfather Marcus King, manager of Oscar Award Winner Jamie Foxx) decided to take his future into his own hands and move to Los Angeles, California. Marques played three instruments for the choir by day, and played keyboards in a house band at the renowned Comedy Store by night. Hollywood inevitably came calling thus leading to a publishing deal with Foxx King Publishing; where he would co-write the theme song for MTV’s G’s to Gents, serving as a commentator on The Foxxhole (a Sirius Radio broadcast), and vocally producing and writing for Jamie Foxx’s Grammy nominated album “Intuition”. Today, Marques Anthony is fulfilling his ultimate dream of breathing life back into RnB with the release of his Mixtape, The Beginning… The revival of true musicianship in RnB music is soon to come, and its delivery will arrive as Marques Anthony.

Ricardo Parker

“I stand out in a crowd full of standouts,” proclaims Houston TX artist, Ricardo Parker. The music industry today has seen many artists from all areas come and go, with no staying power. Ricardo has a unique and raw talent that exudes reality through street wisdom. Most people twice his age still have been unable to manage and maintain a level head while utilizing their musical talents simultaneously. At age 19 Ricardo took on a huge responsibility of adopting his three younger siblings coercing his transition into adulthood at an early age. A ladies man but, rugged and rough, the south has a side that many are unaware of. Ricardo is the diamond in the dirt that just surfaced to the music industry. Success is a commitment for Ricardo. His work ethic is influenced by, Scarface, Jay-Z, UGK, T.I, Fabolous, T-Pain, Eric Bellinger, Avant, and LL Cool J etc. He doesn’t just want “… a hot single, but a classic album.” His music is a collection of good lyrics and diverse sounds. With this coalescence of attributes, the album will certainly have the power to stand alone, and promote quality music. As an individual artist, he has performed all across the nation in shows with many big names in the industry such as Trey Songz, Snoop, E-40, Bobby Valentino, Nas and Paul Wall etc. Even this early in his career; Ricardo is a positive role model in the entertainment industry, he never has his heart and dedication questioned by anybody. It’s Ricardo’s diverse style ranging from “freaky deeky” to street anthems, which gained his credibility to rock stages as a colleague to major artist instead of just an opening act. Ricardo is currently hard at work on his forthcoming EP, which features Scarface and E-40 just to name a couple. The lead single “Throwback” Feat Eric Bellinger, this is a infectious radio friendly and club record. A perfect balance of street and commercial appeal, “The EP” is set to be one of the most artistic projects to come from an independent act since Drake’s “So Far Gone”. This lavish fly young man will continue to stay humble sharing his musical intelligence and implacable drive. The world has yet to see what this artist can do, it’s about to get REAL.

Gregor Ross and the 4 Horsemen

Gregor is a singer/songwriter from Caruthers, a small farming community in the Central Valley of California. I work as a welder by trade traveling around to several different states. I started welding around age 15. During my weekends and summer breaks from school, I would go out on the road working and learning to play my guitar in the many hotel rooms we stayed in. I love music and it’s my addiction. I’m rooted in traditional country music influences.

Russian Money

California based rock/blues band, Russian Money, consists of Ryan Dean and John Bell, both of whom were with the group Poor Mans Poison. Mario Tiexiera from Saltwater and Docs Holiday and Matt Hopson. The group started in early 2015 as a Ryan Dean solo project and quickly developed into what is now, Russian Money. The group is a modern blend of blues infused rock with a darker side. Russian Money has already had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such acts as Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters and country star Craig Morgan in their short time together. With the release of their debut album ‘Nothing For You There’ the group plans to continue to spread their dark, melodic take on rock, blues and soul music to listeners around the world. A fan described Russian Money as such when asked about the group, “The Ruble may be in a slump, but the exchange rate is high for Russian Money, where Ryan Dean proves hes not a ‘Poor Man’ anymore, with his rich vocals, cashing in on John Bells wealth of guitar talent, while Mario and Matt are ‘Putin’ down the beats in the rhythm section. Oil prices don’t determine the value of this band whose fortune is on the rise. Vodka!”

Ben Hazlewood

Contemporary pop. Classic rock. Many points in between. At 26, Ben Hazlewood is a fiercely independent singer and songwriter who has the experience of someone twice his age, and a broad love of music that makes his own something timeless and wholly distinctive amidst a sea of aspiring voices — as evidenced by his new single, “Wanted.”

The New Zealand native has been singing since he was five years old and never considered a Plan B. He was a finalist on “The Voice” in Australia and has worked the globe from London to Nashville, where he recorded “Wanted” and its predecessor “Paint Me Black” with longtime collaborator and friend Duncan Sparks. “‘Wanted’ is a song about unrequited love and the angst and frustration, the desperation that comes with it,” Hazlewood says. “It’s a powerful plea to the person you feel more for than you have ever felt before. The last cry for a change that you anticipate may never come.”

“Wanted” is the beginning of plenty to come from Hazlewood, who has recorded a wealth of material for his first album, targeted for an early 2016 release. Stay tuned…

JOHN 5

“When I drove to LA when I was 18, from my parent’s home in Grosse Pointe, I never thought I would be standing on the stage with some of the world’s most renowned performers. I never dreamed I would be making records with bands I grew up listening to. I just wanted to play guitar. I just wanted to have a career as a session musician, make music and that would have been happiness enough. I can tell you honestly, I still grin from ear to ear completely humbled by what life, music has done for me. I feel like the happiest man alive sometimes – I kid you not!” – John 5, LA, February 2013.

John 5 is undoubtably one of the hottest shredders on the planet right now. His impressive resume of working with frontmen such as Marilyn Manson, Rob Halford, Dave Lee Roth and his current gig as the right hand man for Rob Zombie, show he’s impressive skills have not gone unnoticed, but it doesn’t do him justice to label John 5 as a shredder – he’s a guitarist, a great guitarist – and there’s little he can’t put his hand to.

GROWING UP. HEE HAW, CLUBS AND MAKE-UP

John 5, was born John William Lowery, on July 31 1971, in Grosse Pointe Michigan, in a safe, affluent neighbourhood “it was safe, and I had my own maid”. His love of guitar came at the age of seven, from the Hee Haw series he would watch with his father, as well as The Monkees; “I watched the guitar playing and knew that was what I wanted to do. My friends wanted to be astronauts and such but all I wanted to do was play and play and play”. Other influences included KISS and Jimi Hendrix “one of the hardest but most graceful guitar players of all time”.

For John it was having the support of his parents who permitted him to play in bars and clubs on the condition that he kept his grades up, which gave the biggest push to his burgeoning career. That support of family still drives John today “I’m very lucky, I practise all the time and yet my wife, my family get it. You come to my house and you will rarely find me without a guitar in hand and I am so blessed to have the support of my family in what I do.”

John’s first high-school band – ‘Dirty Tricks’ won a major battle of the bands contest in the sixth or seventh grade. Hours of practise paying off. Another band – ‘Vampirella’ – was where he began to experiment with the unique facial make-up that he still wears to this day; “we looked crazy on stage. I’d already started wearing eyeliner anyway but the stuff we wore on stage was crazy”.

MOVING TO LA. ROBBERY, MARLETTE AND LOTS OF WORK

When John was 18 he made the decision to pack up his guitar, move away from the safety and mod cons of his family home, to the bright lights and big city of LA. The move, almost proved to be the quickest start and end of career in history when on his first night, he found himself the victim of a robbery, loosing every penny he had come to LA with. Many would have gone home but John found himself more determined to pursue his career, hunkering down in abandoned warehouses as he went door to door and sell his skills. “I did not want to give up, it would have been too easy to go home but I’m not someone who gives up at all easily.

His first band experience in LA was called “Alligator Soup”. A bizarre accident saw the lead singer pulled from stage tending a bleeding head wound. Filling the space and making sure the show still went on John took center stage and played. In the audience was Rudy Sarzo who was so impressed that he took John out to dinner and asked to work with him. As a result of that meeting, John also began working closely with producer Bob Marlette – whom he still works with to this day. Marlette provided a gateway for John to work on music for TV shows, commercials and film soundtracks. Bigger breaks included working with the legendary Lita Ford, opening up with her in support of a KISS “I mean KISS man, I was opening up for KISS – this is like all your Christmases come at once”. John also worked with former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Randy Castillo and his first big project – Red Square Black. Together they released one EP – “Square”. The project was short-lived as in 1996, John found himself selected from over 2,000 other guitarists to play with K.D. Lang. In fact you can see John on the Live in Sydney tape of the tour. “KD is an amazing artist. I loved working with her”.

That same year John narrowly missed out on an audition with Marilyn Manson following the departure of original guitarist Daisy Berkowitz. Instead he teamed up with Rob Halford (Judas Priest) and formed industrial/classic rock band “2wo” (Two).Their album, “Voyeurs” was produced by Nine Inch Nail’s frontman Trent Reznor. “Working with Rob was a dream come true – he is a METAL GOD, there is no doubt about that.”

Following that, John was able to work with another hero – Dave Lee Roth of Van Halen fame. “I was sitting at my friend’s house and I wondered, what is Dave Lee Roth up to. I’ve been a fan of his since I was little kid, so I thought, should I call? I did. I called, and the next thing I know I’m submitting music to his management and they love it. And then I’m in his studio – playing”. John’s familiarity with Roth’s style became one of the overriding reasons as to why he was picked to play and help write “The DLR Band” album – “we did it in two weeks, and I remember Dave saying before we started recording, if you can’t do it in two takes, then you can’t do it.” No pressure then!?! “Exactly!”

THE MANSON YEARS AND THE BIRTH OF JOHN 5

marilyn-manson-john-5

In 1998 John found himself sitting at lunch with Marilyn Manson. Manson had just finished recording his studio album “Mechanical Animals” and was searching for a new live guitarist following the departure of Zim Zum. “I had returned home from Europe after touring with Halford and I had this call from Manson’s management asking me to lunch. I get there and it’s Manson himself sitting at the table. As a result of that first meeting I had a new name and I was in the band – the God of Fuck was asking me to be in his band”.

John signed on initially to work as a live guitarist for the Rock is Dead tour and then to work on the next studio album. In between, John also contributed to the Grammy nominated “Astonishing Panorama of the Endtimes”. The track appeared on The Last Tour on Earth CD as well as MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch soundtrack.

Following the tragic events at Columbine High School in April 1999 the group retreated after a media backlash (even though the two killers did not like the band) and several death threats “we were wearing bullet proof vests at one point”. The band regrouped at the Houdini House in Laurel Canyon and began to work on “Holywood: In The Shadow of the Valley of Death”, an angry response to the media witch-hunt the band suffered. It was the first full length album John 5 had worked on. “Manson is a phenomenal producer and visionary. His production knowledge is astounding. It’s a rollercoaster working with him but I think the end product stands out as to how good he is.”

John also continued working as a session guitarist, contributing works to several albums, including the Jimi Hendrix Tribute album “Hazy Days” and reuniting with Dave Lee Roth for the track “Thug Pop”.

After the promotion for Holywood, which saw a worldwide spectacular Guns God and Government tour, the band returned to the studio to record a different kind of album – the Burlesque, Weimar Republic stylized “The Golden Age of Grotesque”. The subsequent tour proved to be demanding and deeply conflicting as personal life clashed with his work life and as a result some tensions arose in the band. “It was hard for us all, we were all dealing with things. I’d experienced some very very close family losses, all of which came at the same time and the tour was hard.”

In 2003, Fender teamed up with John 5 to build his first signature guitar – The John Lowery Signature Fender Telecaster. Guitarist Magazine dubbed it “the sexiest new signature guitar on the market”. John showed it to Metallica’s frontman James Hetfield; “you got to get me one of those”, Hetfield remarked.

SOLO FOOTSTEPS. A NEW ADVENTURE BEGINS

solo-john-5

After five years in Marilyn Manson, John 5 and Manson decided to part company “I’ll never regret working with Manson, it was such a blast, but we both knew it was time to move on”. John retained the name he had been honored with by Manson and began working immediately. A meeting with the legendary Les Paul, helped pave the way forward. “I was playing at a club and there was Les Paul. He was in the audience and he said to me, ‘son, you have to put out your own music’, so I did, I went into the studio. I’d already had some ideas when I was touring about some solo guitar pieces but it was Les Paul that helped me to just say, yeah, make this happen”. Vertigo, became a deeply autobiographical album pulled from turbulent personal memories. And it proved to be a surprising hit with fans, as John 5 not only brought his trademark Drop-D tuning shredding to the album but intermixed it with some of the Bluegrass music he had listened to as a child.

John 5’s newfound solo career also turned out to not be a flash in the pan. Since 2004 he has released six studio solo albums (Vertigo, Songs For Sanity, The Devil Knows My Name, Requiem, The Art of Malice and God Told Me To) and a remix album (Remixploitation) based on his previous work. The albums have also seen John work with other memorable players, including Albert Lee who called John “one of the nicest guys I’ve worked with”, Steve Vai who called John “underrated”, Joe Satriani, Jim Root, Eric Johnson and many more. “I still can’t believe how well the music has been received. Solo guitar albums are often seen as only to be listened to by other music aficionados but here I am getting kids, grandparents, moms, rockers, country fans and everyone else in-between telling me how much they like what they hear.”

As well as a growing fan base, his album The Devil Knows My Name won Best Shred Album from Guitarworld.com – “such an honor”.

Over the years John 5 has also embarked on several ‘guitar clinics’ where he gets to play to an intimate audience as well as talk to the fans and answer their questions “I love meeting with the fans and hearing what they have to say. They are very smart and know what they want, and it’s a pleasure to meet them at clinics or backstage or at the tour buses. See I remember what it was like – I was that kid too, so the more I can give back, the better. It’s great!”

As well as his solo albums John 5 teamed up with the vocal talents of Joe Grah (formerly of Texas band Jibe) to form “radio rock project” Loser. Their first single, “Disposable Sunshine” featured on the Fantastic Four soundtrack. The young band also comprised of Charles Lee, Glendon Crain and briefly drummer Elias Andras.

“Coming from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, a kind of upper-class area, I was the rock kid and I stood out a little as everyone else around me were wearing Polo and Brooks Brothers. I kinda looked like a loser around those folks and I think everyone can relate to that at one time or the other.”

However in 2006, John found himself conflicted as he found himself torn between his new band and a chance meeting with Rob Zombie. Following an onstage meeting at Dave Navarro’s Camp Freddy and then being asked to join Zombie on stage for a short Ozzfest tour (“Rob told me not to get too comfortable at that point”) John began working with the musician turned film director on a new album – 2006’s Educated Horses. Despite trying to find a replacement guitar player for a forthcoming tour Loser were about to embark on, the record company were not happy with the arrangement and John was faced with a very hard decision; “Being the founding member of Loser, my decision to leave was not an easy one.”

John returned to the studio with Zombie and contributed eight out of eleven tracks on Educated Horses.

ROB ZOMBIE. A NEW BAND, A NEW HOME.

5-zombie

Moving to Rob Zombie was huge as the rocker had began to build a career as a film director “Rob was at this stage in his career where he was ready to move on which is why for Ozzfest he said not to get too comfortable but working in the studio on “Educated Horses” you could see this great spark between all of us. Rob is a great musician and performer to work with, he’s so focused, so driven, he’s the single greatest experience I have had working with someone.”

Educated Horses was just the start. Following a North America tour which saw the band tear up the festival scene as well as their own dates, the band went back into the studio for “Hellbilly Deluxe 2″. John 5 also found himself working on other projects with Zombie – including in 2013 the score for The Lords of Salem “it’s primitive, it’s music that will scare you, but it will never distract from the film. Rob has created a fantastic movie and what I have done is complement this.”

In 2011 Rob Zombie toured for the first time outside of the US in years including visiting the UK – where he had last toured with his band White Zombie twelve years previously.

In 2012, between filming and touring, Rob, John 5, Piggy D and the newly acquired Ginger Fish from Marilyn Manson, entered the studio to work on “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor”. The addition of Ginger Fish to the band was akin to reuniting with a brother “I love Ginger, and working with him is great, I missed him so much over the years so being able to play and work with him again is fantastic”.

For John he sees Zombie as the place he will call home until whenever Zombie calls it a day “this is home.”

THE FUTURES BRIGHT

Working on new solo albums, Zombie albums would make one busy enough, but John 5 has continued to work as a “hired gun”. Whether it be contributing to guitar leads, such as on Meatloaf’s Bat out of Hell 3: The Monsters Loose, or going into the studio for not one, but two Lynryd Skynrd albums and surprising fans by working with Ricky Martin and Rod Stewart – to name but two, life is busy for John 5. “I do kick myself sometimes. I’m busy, constantly busy with work but I look at who I am in the studio with or sending music to and I think sometimes, how can I top this and then something else comes along and it just gets better. You know I would love to get on the road again and see the fans up close for clinics but things are so busy at the moment. I wouldn’t want it to stop though – the kid from Grosse Pointe did good”.

Hail Sagan

Hail Sagan features powerhouse vocalist Sagan Amery, with a devilish masked group including guitarist Nick Quijano (Powerman 5000), among other surprises. With a succinct duality of melodic and aggressive sounds, the band drives an explosive punch in the face of the rock music scene.

VYCES

In the summer of 2014, frontman and guitarist, Dave Naruszewicz was looking to work on a new project following the disbandment of Chicago-based group, Heart-Set Self Destruct. After recording 2 full length records, releasing a single to active rock radio which charted at #1 on Music Choice Network, and years of touring North America with such bands as Volbeat, Hellyeah, and Filter it was time for change.
Looking to feed his passion as an artist, Dave spent time working with other musicians in the Chicago music scene but didn’t find what he was looking for. Not deterred, Dave reached out to longtime friend and fellow musician/drummer, Russell Ray. Russ (formerly of Old Fashioned Beatdown) also co-wrote and recorded drums for Wind-Up Records recording artist Megan
McCauley.
Dave began flying to Los Angeles from Chicago twice a month, working with Russ to build something new, original and
undeniable. Russ then reached out to former bandmate and guitarist Shawn Patterson (formerly Old Fashioned Beatdown and
Phantom Communique). The three began writing, recording, and sharing demos that would eventually become the foundation
of VYCES. After a few trips to L.A., they entered the studio with producer Augustus Cryns (Stitched Up Heart, XO Stereo, The
Dead Rabbits and Westfield Massacre). One year later, the band completed 14 songs that established the raw sound, power, and a vision that is VYCES. The band has been compared to such artists as Chevelle, Killswitch Engage and Breaking Benjamin,
sonically creating a dark blend of active rock and metal. Dave describes the soul of the songs as “exploring the darker side of
human emotion and behavior. It’s something everyone can relate to because everyone has experienced some form of hurt,
betrayal, weakness, hate, addiction and/or lack of acceptance. It’s also the fuel that drives us to be stronger, get better and overcome the flaws we’ve built in our minds.”
The founding members of the band felt it was time to release their music and tour, so they began their hunt for members to fill out the line up and become part of the family. Evan Seidlitz, (former singer of Thrown Into Exile and Grimace), longtime friend of Dave and Russ, was asked to join the band. Evan toured on The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in 2013 with Thrown Into Exile, promoting their single, “Not Alone” which was featured on Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal. Evan also performed several guest spots with Grimace when they played the house band for Comedy Central’s Tosh.0. Evan, being a singer and
frontman himself, brought a new dimension of aggressive and melodic vocals to round out the band’s live performance, as well
as adding keys and synths to fill out the sound. The band soon began auditioning other musicians in search of a bass player. Evan brought in bassist Mark James Klepaski (formerly of Breaking Benjamin). Mark earned platinum and gold records for his work with Breaking Benjamin. Along with years of touring experience, Mark brought a unique and powerful style and tone that fit perfectly with the band’s vision. Mark re-tracked the bass lines on the record, helping mold the band’s rhythm section into
what it is today. The band is currently preparing to release their self-titled EP and recently shot a music video for the upcoming single, “Devil” directed by Ron Underwood. “Devil” will be released this August 18th. Their 1st single “The Hive” is currently available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and all other media platforms.

Gamma featuring Davey Pattison

Davey was invited to the United States from his native Scotland in 1979 by the late Bill Graham to front the band “GAMMA” then being put together by guitarist Ronnie Montrose – “I’d given up all hope of finding a quality singer for GAMMA until I heard Davey Pattison.” (Montrose quoted in the Detroit News). Davey arrived with a notebook full of Iyrics and began co-writing the GAMMA hits, “Thunder & Lightning”, “No Tears” and “Razor King” for the band’s first album. Two more albums followed and Davey again co-wrote, most notably, the now classic GAMMA song “Voyager”. Major stadium and arena concerts followed as GAMMA was paired with major rock acts like AC/DC, Santana, ZZ Top, Journey, Toto and Foreigner. Davey Pattison and GAMMA had entered the world of big time Rock and Roll.

REBEL SOULJAHZ

Emerging from the backyards of Waipahu, Hawaii, Rebel Souljahz began as four friends born with a drive to perform. They started singing acapella together in high school, later developing into a full band where they quickly built a name for themselves performing at parties and in the clubs of Honolulu.
Their debut effort, Nothing To Hide, teams the boys of Rebel Souljahz (Mike Maglinti, Will Su’a, Bubba Hodges and Kulani Cozo) with producer/arranger Imua Garza (Opihi Pickers, Kaipo, Kawao) for a full-blown all original island music extravaganza.

With standout tracks like “Darling Angel”, “Nothing To Hide” and “The One”, the music of Rebel Souljahz will quickly appeal to mainstream island music enthusiasts and lovers of Hawaii’s local island reggae.

The groups signature vocal sound can be heard on the ballad “I’m Not The Man For You” featuring the sweet tenor lead vocals of Will Su’a juxtaposed against the rough soulful lead vocals of Mike Maglinti and then augmented by the tight harmonies of Bubba Hodges and Kulani Cozo.

Eli-Mac

A sultry blend of Reggae from Jamaica and Hawaii infused with heavy beats and ragga riffs. A description does no justice, feel it for yourself.

The Blasters

The all-American roots music band, the Blasters were principally brothers Dave and Phil Alvin whose first-hand experience with blues masters shaped their sound and turned them both into contemporary singer/songwriters whose interest in roots rock has never waned.

The brothers, along with Bill Bateman on drums and John Bazz on bass, grew up in Downey California, in the shadow of Disneyland. Their musical education involved hanging out with musicians like Lee Allen, Marcus Johnson, and T-Bone Walker, all of whom tipped the band to the ways of blues and R&B. Ironically, by the time they were ready to work in Los Angeles clubs, the punk rock explosion was in full swing, and they found an audience for their rough-and-ready sound among the punks, particularly fans of X with whom they frequently shared the bill. American Music (1980) was a collection of roots covers and like-minded originals. Followed by The Blasters (1981, Slash), the band had added veteran pianist Gene Taylor, baritone saxophonist Steve Berlin and mentor Allen on tenor sax. Amazingly, the album reached number 36 on the charts. In 1982, they recorded the live EP, Over There for Slash, followed by 1983’s Non-Fiction. Less focused on rockabilly revivalism, Dave Alvin had become the band’s chief cook and songwriter. Berlin had since left the fold to join Los Lobos. Hard Line followed in 1985. The band called it a day after that, though several years later Phil Alvin reformed the group as a live act without Dave. The current version of the Blasters is a phenomenal live band, featuring all original members except for Dave.

Monophonics

Since 2012 the Bay Area’s Monophonics have released multiple 45’s and LP’s that are warranted as some of the most unique and original sounding records in the soul & funk scene. They also happen to be one of the busiest bands in the genre, playing over 700 shows in the last four years in 20 different countries. The songs may be infectious on their records but their energy on stage in a live setting is whats most infectious and leaves you wanting more. Overall it’s heartfelt music and old school vibes, with-out losing sight of the present. This is is music steeped in that timeless feeling when people could write and produce songs that you could listen to over and over again.
PRESS
“Monophonics has made its name essentially, by creating a nasty score for the greatest blaxploitation movie never made!” – Willamette Weekly Magazine

“One of the best live soul bands I have ever seen!”- Al Bell (Record Producer, songwriter, record executive and co-owner of legendary Stax Records)

“A new species of music has been developed, something unknown to many, but needs to be known by everyone. A musical animal that will melt your mind, make you move like never before, and leave you frozen in your tracks when you see it.” – MissoulaLive.com

“The missing soundtrack to a Tarantino movie.” – Boise Idaho Music Scene

“Sonically, In Your Brain sounds like a dream band featuring Dennis Coffey, the Funk Brothers, & Dr. John recording at Black Ark studios. However, this record is much more than just a culmination of sonic influences. The writing at the heart of the LP helps make this something completely original as well as something rooted in the past. I once read a Robert Wyatt quote about Paul Weller that I think is applicable. To paraphrase it, the Monophonics, like master carpenters, have created new furniture from seasoned wood.” – Drunkard Aquarium

denitia and sene.

At a time when the idea of “alternative R&B” has become the genre-defying norm, when hip hop and EDM and house music and indie-rock have all started to sound mysteriously the same, the chilled-out, futuristic soul vibes of Brooklyn electro pop duo denitia and sene make a perfect kind of sense. Formed in 2011, the Brooklyn-based group has released one full-length (2013’s His and Hers), a handful of singles, and two EPs (2012’s Blah Blah Blah and 2014’s side fx)—all of which show off the band’s ability to move seamlessly between pure pop, subdued electronica, and slinky R&B with a sound that brings to mind everything from Massive Attack, The Fugees, or the shadowy late-night atmospherics of The XX. The pairing of powerhouse vocalist Denitia and production whiz and beat-maker Sene is a kind of perfect musical union—a complimentary collision of personalities and musical sensibilities that makes for next level perfect pop.

Zee Will

Next generation hip-hop. He performs w/ a live band or DJ.
Poetic approach and raw talent. Drive, determination with a lyrical edge. In 2012 he won multiple talent shows to earn the right to open for Kendrick Lamar. He has also shared the stage w/ Rakim, Freddie Gibbs, Black Milk, Dizzy Wright, Slum Village, Fashawn, Saba.

B.Nice & Carl

Think of them as the Valley’s music scene’s answer to Hollywood’s Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. Except Bnice has dreads and Carl is a 5’4 Filipino/Chinese-American.
As self-described children of the likes of Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest, they bring in a mixture of an appreciation for smart wordplay and lyricism with very new school sensibilities. It’s always going to be a fun time with this odd couple. Upon listening to them either as individuals or as a duo, you can get the idea that they don’t necessarily fit the mold of the times, but rather make the molds fit them.

Okilly Dokilly

Okilly Dokilly is the world’s only Nedal band. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, a majority of the band’s lyrics are direct Ned quotes. The band’s members include Head Ned, Red Ned, Thread Ned, Stead Ned and Bled Ned.

Established in 2015, the band found success before ever playing their first show, becoming a viral phenomenon after releasing just a few press photos and a 4-song demo. Within 2 weeks, the band had nearly 30,000 Facebook fans and was featured by numerous publications including Billboard, Time, The Independent, BBC, Esquire, Vice and many more.
In November of 2016 the band released their debut album, ‘Howdilly Doodilly’, a 13-track catalog filled with Flanderisms, rushing guitars and more than enough left-handed puns.

Okilly Dokilly’s live shows are high energy affairs that weave together comedy and brutality. Guttural screams and pounding drums provide a soundtrack for the pummeling of an inflatable donut as green sweaters and round glasses blur across the stage.

BEATALLICA

Forged from the influences of two of history’s greatest bands, Beatallica are the world’s first live mash-up
or “bash-up” band. Their wit, creativity, subversiveness, and flair is just as sharp as the point they make. Beatallica destroy the boundaries of creativity and reveal how original compositions of music can be crafted for those who identify with humor and biting commentary. All the while, they show appreciation and reverence to The Beatles
and Metallica, grandfathers of their respective genres.
In August of 2009, Jaymz Lennfield, Kliff McBurtney, Ringo Larz, and Grg III unleashed their sophmore
full-length c.d., Masterful Mystery Tour on Oglio Entertainment and distributed by Universal/Fontana. Their technically brilliant musicianship and uncanny ability has lead to the creation of song titles such as “Hero of the Day Tripper”,
“I Want to Choke Your Band” and “Got to Get You Trapped under Ice”. The video for “Hero” can be found on viral
and mass media sources everywhere. This triumphant return is a follow-up to Beatallica’s debut, Sgt. Hetfield’s Motorbreath Pub Band, which promptly went to #9 on Billboard’s comedy music chart in the U.S.A. and #1 on Tower Records’ chart in Japan when released in 2007. The singles “Revol-ooh-tion” and “A Garage Dayz Nite” have become fan favorites and live show classics. In 2008, Beatallica did the unthinkable and unleashed the All You Need is Blood maxi-single. The vocals on the recording were done in 14 different languages and set a new bar for creativity and perseverance.
What started as a small buzz about the band is now a full-fledged roar, with the music listening public from all seven continents cheering the undertaking. Foreign labels such as Sony Japan and Megapress in Germany have become welcome partners. On a regular basis, magazine feature writers, radio personalities, and mass media members of a major and world-wide assortment have chased the speeding Beatallica bandwagon. Metallica members themselves are huge allies, and metal powerhouses such as Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater and Scott Ian of Anthrax cite themselves as fans.
Beatallica have chalked up appearances with Sammy Hagar, Clutch, members of Mastodon, Jerry Cantrell and Billy Duffy, Motorhead, Testament, Steven Adler of Guns and Roses, L.A. Cash’d Out

Cash’d Out is the premier Johnny Cash tribute band in the world, bar none. Cash’d Out is the only tribute band endorsed by and linked to the official Johnny Cash website.

Cash’d Out live shows respectfully reference the late, great Man in Black’s early Columbia era and Sun Records sound, combined with the energy of the classic multi-platinum live recordings from Folsom Prison and San Quentin. Bill Miller (owner of johnnycash.com and JC’s best friend for 25 years) requested Cash’d Out perform at the recent opening of the Johnny Cash Exhibit as the Fender Museum. Not a bad compliment from the man who has lived and breathed Johnny Cash since first hearing him in 1969! Not only that, they bear a striking resemblance to Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Three!

Cash’d Out has over 100 of JC’s songs in their repertoire, and can deliver up to 4 hours of non-stop entertainment, including the June Carter Cash duets brought back to fame in the recent Oscar winning movie, “Walk the Line”. Cash’d Out can tailor a performance to suit any venue or function, from clubs, theatres, fairs and casinos to museums and corporate events.

The product Cash’d Out delivers is a guaranteed hit with any audience. This is due to the music’s universal appeal to young and old fans of virtually all musical genres, and in no small part to the group’s reverent and genuine love of JC’s music. Their live performance encourages happiness and unity and celebration. In fact, in more than a few occasions Cash’d Out performances have set new bar sales records for the venues they play at! And yet, in a more intimate setting, the sound of Cash’d Out can be so delicate as to raise the hairs on the back of your neck and give you goose bumps.

Los Lonely Boys

Can anything even more magical happen in the already charmed career of Los Lonely Boys? You bet. It’s called Rockpango, their first self-produced long player on their own LonelyTone/Playing In Traffic Records. And yeah, it’s magical indeed.

At least as magical — and maybe more so — as debuting in 2003 with a multi-chart gold single, selling millions of albums, winning a Grammy, racking up reams of critical acclaim, opening for The Rolling Stones,
and many more accomplishments for the Texican rock’n’roll trio of
brothers. Plus playing and recording with such legends as Willie
Nelson and Carlos Santana, associations that give a strong hint at
what’s at work here on Rockpango.

After proving themselves one of the most stunning and wonderful
musical success stories of the last decade, Los Lonely Boys are now
carving out their legend with their fourth studio album. Even though
the band has already shown they can “up the ante with greater
musicianship and confidence” (People) every time out, on Rockpango
they heighten the trajectory, open up their sound, and show what
flourishing maturity feels like from these veteran yet still young and
burgeoning musical talents.

Rockpango is a spirit and sound coined by Los Lonely Boys that takes
the next step from fandango (a beat of loving celebration) and then
huapango (another infectious Latin rhythm that gets the fiesta
cooking) to a full-scale Tex-Mex American roots rock party galore.
Bursting out of the gate with the simmering and slinky “American Idle”
that scans today’s tough economic times, and wrapping up 10 tracks
later with the fierce and fiery assertion that love is the answer on
“Believe,” Los Lonely Boys look at the big picture around us with the
concerns and continuing faith that come with well-grounded adulthood.

Their ever-expanding musical vision fills the set with new facets that
further reveal the group’s already notable artistic diversity. “16
Monkeys” is a delightfully funky slice of infectious neo-bohemian wit
and wordplay, while orchestration by the Tosca String Quartet adds
classic rock-pop sophistication on the achingly beautiful “Road To
Nowhere” and the Beatle-esque gem “Smile.” And they fuse deep blues
with a hip-hop twist on “Porn Star,” which includes a razor-sharp rap
at the tail end by Kush, one of their Texas extended family relations.

They soar on “Fly Away,” rip it up to percolating Latin beats on “Love
In My Veins” and “Baby Girl,” and reassert their mastery of the
classic music that influences them as demonstrated on their recent
1969 EP. They deliver ’60s style blues-rockers on the rousing title
tune and powerfully loping “Change The World” — two more slices of
their spot-on social commentary and consciousness.

The trademark Los Lonely Boys genetic vocal blend is deeper, richer,
more fluent and confident than ever. The rhythms are utterly
irresistible as well as flush with smart syncopation and muscular
drive, abetted on some tracks by tour percussionist Carmelo “Melo”
Torres. The brothers’ songwriting skills stamp indelibility on every
winning number. And Henry Garza goes even beyond what Guitar World
hails as being a “guitarist with chops out his ass who doesn’t care
about chops [and] just opens up and plays.” Joined by veteran Austin
player Riley Osbourn on keyboards, Los Lonely Boys deliver and more on
Rockpango.

“I’m super proud of it,” says JoJo Garza, bassist and middle brother
in the triumvirate. “It’s just progress, maturation and growth.
Growing up, being older, seeing the world we’re living in. It’s also
touching base with home.”

Los Lonely Boys tale to date is already the stuff legends are made of:
Playing behind their father as kids in cantinas and honky-tonks.
Moving to Nashville in their teens to try to win a record deal.
Returning to their native Texas, where the brothers made their bones
on the club scene as a live act. Releasing their self-titled debut,
which goes double platinum, and penning a #1 radio hit in “Heaven.”

Two more stellar studio albums followed: Sacred (2006) and Forgiven
(2008). In 2009, they cut 1969, an EP that leaps back four decades to
reveal how the group’s roots extend well past their birthdates on
songs by The Beatles, Santana, The Doors, Buddy Holly and Tony Joe
White. 2010 brought about the release of Keep On Giving: Acoustic
Live! a snapshot of their recent acoustic tour.

So after all that, what’s left but to meet the new decade with the
great leap forward, upward, outward and onward of Rockpango? “It was
just time to grow and change,” explains JoJo. “But not change too
much. It’s kind of like a tree. A tree doesn’t actually change much as
it grows. It gets taller, grows more branches, gets thicker and
stronger.

“I think it’s one of our best if not our best,” he adds. “We took the
ball and I think we scored a touchdown.”

And after eight years of championship seasons, Rockpango paves the way
for Los Lonely Boys to enter the rock’n’roll pantheon of legendary
musical artists while also remaining true to themselves. “We’re still
Lonely Boys,” JoJo insists, chuckling in agreement that they are also
now Los Lonely Men who have truly come of age on their latest. “We’re
still family, we’re still three brothers, we’re still doing what the
good Lord has blessed us with, and that’s singing and playing for
people who really want to listen.”
